Battlin Open Season 1 (2026)

KRAFTON India unveiled Battlin, its unified tournament platform for BGMI, at an esports press conference in Hyderabad on 16 October 2026, and announced Battlin Open Season 1 as the platform's first official tournament. The event carries a combined prize pool of Rs 20 lakh, has more than 5,000 registration slots, and runs from 2 to 29 November 2026.

The competition is split into two tracks. Track 1 offers a Rs 5 lakh prize pool, and its winning team earns a direct qualification slot for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS). Track 2 carries the larger Rs 15 lakh pool, with its finale on 29 November crowning the first Battlin Open champion. Registrations stay open until 1 November 2026.

Battlin is designed to fix the fragmented way grassroots BGMI tournaments run: discovery, registration, scheduling, room management, results and reward disbursement all live in one place, with KRAFTON disbursing rewards through the platform itself. The company says the platform is skill-based competition only, with no wagering or betting mechanics.

Battlin Open Season 1 is the debut event for a platform built to let more than KRAFTON run tournaments. Individuals, colleges, creators, gaming cafés and gaming organisations can host their own competitions on the same setup, with automated brackets, rooms and notifications cutting the work of running an event. KRAFTON describes that shift as turning a week of admin into an evening of setup, and reward payment stays with the platform rather than with the organiser of each match.

The Battlin platform behind Season 1 runs tournaments every day, is BGMI-first at launch, and has no confirmed date for other KRAFTON titles, with Real Cricket named only as a possibility. KRAFTON has also said earning money from the platform is not its immediate priority, keeping the launch focused on discovery, registration and transparent rewards.
