STG Official's Trident IGNITE 2026 title

STG Official won the Trident IGNITE 2026 Road to Masters, the Grand Finals of which ran 8 to 10 September 2026. Carpediem finished runners-up, Silly Esports third, and Team Free Agents fourth. The Road to Masters carried a ₹10,00,000 prize pool (about $10,513 in the records' figures), part of a ₹15,00,000 total across both Trident IGNITE stages, organised by Trident Esports in collaboration with KRAFTON India Esports as a grassroots pathway event.

The scale was the story. Registrations ran 13 to 19 July, and the open qualifier arc filtered more than 1,024 teams through in-game qualifiers, two open rounds, quarterfinals, and semifinals down to a 16-team Grand Finals: 18 matches over three days on Rondo, Erangel, and Miramar. For an underdog squad like STG Official to survive that funnel and then win the finals is the exact outcome a grassroots pathway is designed to produce.

The pipeline did not end at the trophy. The top eight from the Road to Masters finals advanced to Challengers vs Masters (11 to 14 September), where they faced eight invited professional teams including Team SouL, Orangutan, Nebula, and Revenant XSpark. That second stage, with its own ₹5 lakh pool, was won by Revenant XSpark; it is a separate event and is not merged into this page's records.

The gaps are honest ones: no outlet found published the final points totals or named a Road to Masters MVP, so both are TBA. The records' USD figure covers only the ₹10 lakh Road to Masters half.

Liquipedia's results section has since closed the two gaps this page first carried: the full finals table puts STG Official on 167 points (67 placement points and 100 finishes) ahead of Carpe Diem on 153 and Silly Esports on 151, and the MVP award names Shockwave of Free Agents, who took the Rs 20,000 prize.

STG Official came from a 1,024-team open qualifier to win the Road to Masters finals, then earned a shot at the pros in the Challengers vs Masters stage.
