Zhang Chaoqun, known in game as Alan, has come back to The Chosen after two years away, and his career has now taken him through three clubs in the Peacekeeper Elite League. He first joined The Chosen on 13 January 2021 for a reported transfer fee of ¥160,000, stayed for more than three years, and left for KONE ESPORT on 24 June 2024. He is listed among the five active players on the side's current roster, and his return came just before the summer split of the 2026 season. His move to Six Two Eight came on the same day 86 and Acan left the club for Tong Jia Bao Esports, and his first arrival at The Chosen in January 2021 came in a window that also saw Wei Wu Xian join for a reported fee of 210,000 yuan.

His first spell at The Chosen brought the side's best run of results in the early 2020s. The side finished second at the Peacekeeper Elite League 2021 Season 3 with $183,039 and second again at Season 4 with $142,343, then ninth at the PEL Spring 2022 with $383,981. His short spell at Six Two Eight still produced a Grand Finals appearance, with the side finishing tenth at the Peacekeeper Elite League Spring 2026 Grand Finals in Changsha and taking home $8,776.67. Back at The Chosen, he was part of the side that finished ninth at the PEL Summer 2026 Grand Finals in Qingdao, scoring 124 points with three Chicken Dinners and taking home $74,330. The 2021 Season 3 second place came on 3 October 2021 and the Season 4 second place on 28 November 2021, and the summer 2026 finale was played from 28 to 30 August at the Qingdao Citizen Fitness Center Gymnasium. The Chosen's spring 2026 eighteenth place is not his result, as he rejoined on 18 May, after the finals.
