Astra Academy finished 1st at PMCO Spring 2021 Wildcard

Astra Academy were a Mongolian PUBG Mobile team founded in 2020 and led by founder and chief executive Azeroth, whose real name is Shinebayar Altangerel. The side were disbanded in September 2021, so their whole competitive life fits inside two seasons, yet those two seasons produced the biggest prize in South Asian PUBG Mobile at the time.

Astra Academy won the PMCO Spring 2021 Wildcard with $3,900, which sent them into the PMPL South Asia Championship Season 1. There they went further, winning the championship itself for $40,000, with Action named the tournament's most valuable player. Zeus Esports finished second and DRS Gaming third. A team that existed for barely eighteen months therefore retired as regional champions, which is why the Academy name, rather than the redirect that points at it, is the right page title. The Academy's eighteen-month run remains one of the shortest championship-winning spells in the region's history.
