Bapak Esports finished 7th at Selangor Cyber Games 2019
Bapak Esports was a Malaysian professional team owned by the popular streamer MasterRamen, founded in September 2019 as Bapak Ah Esports. The side was an early presence in the Malaysia-Singapore league, and its original roster was acquired by Team SMG in mid-2020, a move that briefly took the Bapak name out of competition before a new roster revived it.
The original team placed thirteenth in the first Malaysia-Singapore Pro League season in 2020 and nineteenth in the Club Open's fall Southeast Asia league the year before. After the revival, Bapak returned for the spring 2023 Malaysian Pro League, finishing eighteenth, before disbanding on 1 March 2023. A seventh place at the 2019 Selangor Cyber Games remains its best early result. Bapak's Liquipedia dates run from 11 September 2019 to 1 March 2023, a three-and-a-half-year history split by the mid-2020 acquisition of its original roster by Team SMG and the later revival under a new lineup.
