Ben Esports finished 3rd at Pro League - Malaysia Spring 2026

Ben Esports is a Malaysian team that began as AZ Slumber, created in December 2024 to compete in the Malaysian national championship. Under its original name the side climbed quickly, and by the spring of 2026 it was contesting the Malaysian Pro League final, a rise that took barely eighteen months from formation to the top of the domestic game.

Ben Esports broke through in the spring 2026 Malaysian Pro League grand finals, where AZ Slumber finished third behind Maqna Esports Club and Team 52, earning a place at the Global Open's Southeast Asia finals. Rebranded as Ben Esports, the team then finished eighth at the season-two Southeast Asia finals with 135 points, the best result by a Malaysian team at that event. Ben Esports' rise from a December 2024 formation to a Malaysian Pro League final in spring 2026 took barely eighteen months, and the rebrand from AZ Slumber came with the step up to Southeast Asia finals.
