BIG finished 1st at Star Challenge Europe 2021
BIG, short for Berlin International Gaming, is a German organisation founded in 2017 that entered PUBG Mobile in October 2021 and left the title just over a year later. The division played the Western Europe Pro League across three seasons, a respectable run for an organisation whose reputation was built in other games, and it peaked with a tournament win outside the league system.
That win came at the PUBG Mobile Star Challenge Europe in November 2021, worth $11,650, and the league record that followed was steady rather than spectacular: twelfth in the second Western Europe season of 2021, ninth in the spring of 2022 and sixteenth that autumn. The division closed in December 2022 after a ninth place at the European Cup. The division was run under chief executive Daniel Finkler with Shelly as manager, and its Liquipedia dates run from 3 October 2021 to 26 December 2022, a fourteen-month stint in the title.
