DetonatioN FocusMe are one of Japan's best-known esports brands: the organisation was founded in 2012, previously competed as DetonatioN Gaming, and entered PUBG Mobile in March 2020. They were ever-present in the PUBG Mobile Japan League from Season 0 onward, and their best season came in 2022, when they finished fifth in Phase 1 of Season 2 for $57,441 and third at the Open Tournament Phase 2 later that year.
The team remained a top-flight side into Season 3, taking seventh in Phase 1 and sixth in Phase 2 of 2023, but never quite reached a final or a title. Their PUBG Mobile division is recorded as disbanded in November 2024, closing a four-and-a-half-year run. DetonatioN FocusMe's significance is less about silverware than longevity: few Japanese organisations stayed in PUBG Mobile continuously from the amateur era through to the end of the Japan League's third season.
