EGC KR Black finished 1st at Street Challenge Season 4

EGC KR Black was a Korean PUBG Mobile team under EGC Esports, a multi-gaming organisation based in Korea with operations in Japan and North America, and its career lasted barely over three months. Formed in 2019, the team disbanded on 2 January 2020, yet in that short window it played in two global finals and won a domestic title, a record most longer-lived teams never match.

The domestic title came first in the record: victory in the Street Challenge Season 4 on 10 November 2019, worth $6,194. That form carried onto the world stage, where EGC KR Black finished fifth at the PUBG Mobile Star Challenge World Cup 2019 for $14,000, its largest prize, and then placed fifteenth at the Club Open Fall Split Global Finals for a further $2,000.

The team's end was as abrupt as its rise. Its players TROTE and BULTER moved to REJECT Korea in January 2020, the same month the team disbanded, which ties EGC KR Black directly into the early history of another Korean side. For a team that existed for a single competitive season, two global finals appearances and a domestic championship make it one of the most concentrated records in the early Korean scene.
