Elites United Team were a PUBG Mobile squad based in the United Arab Emirates, with a second base in the Philippines, formed in 2020. They are best remembered for an unusual route to the top of the game: as the host-country invite, they were given a place at the first PUBG Mobile Global Championship.
Elites United Team finished twenty-third among twenty-four teams at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship Season 0 league stage, played online from November to December 2020, and earned $5,000. They did not reach the Grand Finals, but simply contesting a full global league season put them in rare company for a team of their size.
Elites United Team disbanded in January 2021, weeks after that campaign ended. Their page is a snapshot of the pandemic-era competitive scene, when a host invite could carry a local squad into the same lobby as the world's best teams.
