Flamengo Esports are the esports division of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, one of Brazil's traditional sports clubs, and their PUBG Mobile team began in March 2021. The side spent three seasons in the Brazil Pro League, starting with fifteenth place in Season 1 of 2021 and twelfth in Season 2, then thirteenth in both splits of 2022 before improving to fourth in the Spring 2023 split for $8,500.
The 2023 season was the team's best. Alongside that Spring fourth place, Flamengo finished second at the PUBG Mobile All Stars 2023 event for $2,000 and seventh at the Americas Championship Spring event for $8,000, results that put a football club's esports division briefly among the continent's better sides. The Fall 2023 league split brought them back down to twelfth, and the division closed in February 2024.
Flamengo's record is notable less for trophies than for what it represents: a major Brazilian sports club competing seriously in mobile esports, with a national championship fourth place in 2022 and a continental top-ten finish in 2023. The verified results across three league seasons make the page an easy call.
