ILLUMINATE The PUBG Mobile Roster

ILLUMINATE The Murder were a Thai PUBG Mobile team under the Illuminate Esports organisation, and their name records a piece of early Thai scene history: the organisation began as OneShine Esports in August 2018 before its founders joined forces to form Illuminate. The Murder were the organisation's mobile squad, and their competitive life ran from 2018 until the PUBG Mobile division disbanded in May 2020.
The results from that short life are among the best early Thai numbers anywhere. The team finished second in the Club Open's Fall Split Southeast Asia League and Championship in 2019, then fourth at the Fall Split Global Finals in December 2019, worth $38,000. Those finishes put a Thai team on a world final leaderboard two years before the Thai league system fully professionalised.
The domestic peak followed in March 2020, when ILLUMINATE The Murder won the Thailand Season 1 Pro League, worth $17,195, and then finished eighth in the Southeast Asia Season 1 Pro League. A league title, a world final top-four finish and a regional top-eight finish inside eighteen months make this one of the strongest early-era Thai pages in the batch.
