Kurd Squad were an Iraqi PUBG Mobile team formed in July 2019, and they own one of the most significant early results in Middle Eastern PUBG Mobile history. They played in the first Club Open seasons, when regional finals still offered a direct route to global competition.
In October 2019 they won the PUBG Mobile Club Open MENA regional finals with 142 points, finishing ahead of SWAT69, and qualified for the PMCO Global Finals in Malaysia. Earlier that year they had finished second at the Club Open Spring Split for the Middle East, earning $12,000, which announced them as a serious team.
Winning a MENA regional final in the game's first competitive year is a landmark achievement, and it is why Kurd Squad's page is worth writing despite the team's short documented run. They were champions of their region before the Pro League era began.
