LK Gaming finished 1st at HUYA Mengnan Cup Summer 2023

LK Gaming are a Chinese team whose record is far stronger than their thin Liquipedia page suggests. The team dates to 2019 and played in the first PEL seasons, finishing fourth in Season 1 of 2020 and sixth in Season 2, results that put them in the top six of the Chinese league at a time when it was at its deepest.

After the PEL years, LK Gaming found a second life in the cup circuit. They finished second at the HUYA Mengnan Cup in the summer of 2022, third at the annual edition later that year, and then won the Summer edition outright in 2023, their first trophy.

That combination of early PEL top-six finishes and a later cup title gives the page two distinct chapters, and both are verified. LK Gaming are a good example of why a short team page should not be mistaken for a short career.
