NORTHEPTION finished 4th at Open Tournament 2022: Phase 2
NORTHEPTION were a short-lived Japanese PUBG Mobile organisation, formed in March 2022 and disbanded at the end of 2023, barely twenty months later. Their life divides neatly in two: the founding roster of March 2022 broke up within four months, and a rebuilt side featuring Daniell, POKER and XèRo, later joined by TaiZi, carried the team through its only full league season.
That season was Season 3 of the Japan League in 2023, where NORTHEPTION finished 11th in Phase 1 for $6,966 and 12th in Phase 2 for $3,370. Their best single finish was fourth at the Open Tournament Phase 2 in December 2022. NORTHEPTION never threatened the top of the league, but a complete Season 3 campaign plus an Open Tournament top-four finish is a real competitive record, and it earns them a page despite the brief lifespan.
