NOVA Monster Shield finished 1st at Club Open - Spring Split: Taiwan
NOVA Monster Shield was a Taiwanese PUBG Mobile team formed on 2 January 2019 as a joint partnership between NOVA Esports and Monster Shield, and it is a distinct side from the main Nova Esports roster rather than a mere rename of it. The partnership gave the team a Hong Kong connection alongside its Taiwanese base, and it competed through the 2019 PUBG Mobile Club Open season before disbanding in 2020.
Its best domestic result came immediately: the team won the PUBG Mobile Club Open Spring Split in Taiwan on 30 June 2019, which carried it to the Spring Split Global Finals, where it finished 19th. Later that year it added a second trophy by winning the PUBG Mobile Taiwan Challenge Cup on 23 November 2019, and it also reached the Fall Split Wildcard, finishing 12th. Two titles in a single season make it one of the more successful short-lived teams of Taiwan's early PUBG Mobile scene.
