PULVEREX finished 1st at Open Tournament 2022: Phase 1
PULVEREX were a Japanese PUBG Mobile team with two names and one continuous history. They began in January 2021 as Team UNITE, built around a roster acquired from Troll Gaming, and competed under that name for eighteen months before rebranding as PULVEREX in July 2022. The new name brought their best results: fifth in Phase 2 of Japan League Season 2, third at the Rivals Cup 2022, and a third-place finish in Phase 2 of Season 3 in October 2023.
Their earlier record was strong too, with fourth in Phase 2 of Season 1 and victory at the Open Tournament Phase 1 in June 2022, the last title won as Team UNITE. The team disbanded in January 2024, with its remaining players scattering to BLUE BEES and elsewhere. PULVEREX's arc, from a mid-table Season 1 side to a Season 3 podium team, is one of the clearest improvement stories in the Japan League's history.
