RG Star Team finished 2nd at Club Open - Spring Split: Wildcard

RG Star Team was a Taiwanese PUBG Mobile side whose entire recorded career fits inside the 2019 season. The team disbanded later that year, but in its brief run it fielded a mixed roster drawn from Taiwan, Hong Kong and China, with XiaoTian, Joker, AimLocker and AK listed as its starters.

Its standout result was a second-place finish at the PUBG Mobile Club Open Spring Split Wildcard on 9 June 2019, a run that took the team all the way to the Spring Split Global Finals, where it placed 21st. It returned for the Fall Split Wildcard qualifiers, finishing 21st in both the group stage and the semi-finals. A global-finals appearance and a wildcard runners-up finish are more than enough to lift this short-lived team above the thin-page bar. For a team that lasted less than a full year, reaching a global final and finishing as wildcard runners-up is a respectable legacy, and it explains why the side still appears in Taiwan's early competitive record.
