ROX finished 2nd at 16th Arab Cultural Festival
ROX Esports is a South Korean multi-gaming organisation whose history in esports long predates PUBG Mobile. Founded in January 2016 and initially focused only on League of Legends, where its ROX Tigers side became famous, it later expanded into Overwatch, Tekken and Arena of Valor before joining the PUBG Mobile scene on 25 February 2023.
In PUBG Mobile, ROX became a regular Pro Series side without ever threatening the title. Its best domestic finishes were sixth in the Pro Series 2023 Season 2 and seventh in both the 2023 Season 1 and the 2024 Season 1, with further mid-table placings in the 2023 Season 3, the 2024 Season 0 and Season 2, and the Rivals Cup 2024 Season 1.
ROX's most distinctive results came outside the Pro Series. It finished second at the 16th Arab Cultural Festival in November 2023 for $1,150, and thirteenth at the India-Korea Invitational a month earlier for $1,201, showing a willingness to play cross-regional events that many Korean sides skipped. The organisation's PUBG Mobile division closed in February 2025, ending a two-year run.
