Team Saudi Arabia finished 2nd at Global Esports Games 2022 - Istanbul
Team Saudi Arabia are the kingdom's national PUBG Mobile side, and their best years came when the national-team circuit was at its peak. The 2022 squad, built around R8 Esports players with Falcons and Twisted Minds representation, delivered the team's finest results in a single December.
At the IESF World Esports Championships 2022 they finished fourth, and a week later they took silver at the Global Esports Games in Istanbul. Those two results made Saudi Arabia one of the strongest national sides in the world that winter, and the core stayed together into 2023.
Team Saudi Arabia's following year brought third place at the AESF Road to Asian Games West Asia event, fifth at the Global Esports Games in Riyadh, and a 13th to 16th finish at the Asian Games themselves. For a national team with no league season of its own, that run of finals appearances is the whole story.
