The Real Deal finished 1st at Pringles PUBG Mobile Gamers Cup 2019
The Real Deal were an Iraqi PUBG Mobile team active from April 2019 to September 2020, and their short life contained one of the region's most surprising early titles. Within months of forming they won the Pringles PUBG Mobile Gamers Cup 2019, a $10,000 victory that announced them beyond the Middle East.
The Real Deal backed it up in the Club Open system, finishing fifth in the Spring Split Middle East event and sixth in the Fall Split MENA event of 2019, with a semi-final third place in between. The roster was briefly acquired by YaLLa Esports in December 2019 before reforming under the same name.
The 2020 season took them into Europe, with a third place in the Spring Split Europe event and second place at Gamers Without Borders EMEA, before the team disbanded that September. A later fourth place at the National Championship Iraq 2022 is also recorded under the name.
