i8 Esports won PMPL Pakistan Fall 2022 ahead of Team QWERTY
Overview
i8 Esports won PMPL Pakistan Fall 2022, a 20 team online season for Pakistan that ran from 30 August to 2 October 2022. Team QWERTY finished second, Quantum Rage third, and Team TUF fourth, with Magnus Esports fifth, on the explicit place fields of the published prize list.
Twenty invited teams from Pakistan Spring 2022 entered the league, which used five groups redrawn weekly, and the third week second day was postponed for internal reasons. Finals weekend fell on 30 September to 2 October, with 18 matches and the 16 finalists carrying bonus points earned in the league stage. Entry was limited to Pakistan sides, so the finals field stayed fully domestic.
Team QWERTY player GRAVITY collected the MVP award, worth $1,000, and the top six teams earned places at the South Asia Championship. Quraysh Esports were disqualified and show as place dq at $0 on the cached list, so no prize row was made for them and no 16th placed team was invented.
