High Voltage Nepal won PMPL South Asia Fall 2022 ahead of DE Warriors
Overview
High Voltage Nepal finished first in PMPL South Asia Fall 2022, a 20 team online season that ran from 30 August to 2 October 2022. DE Warriors placed second, Stalwart Esports Mongolia third, and IHC Esports fourth, with DRS Gaming fifth, according to the season prize list.
Weekly redraws shaped the league stage, which ran from 30 August to 25 September with teams drawn into five groups and bonus points carried into the finals. The finals ran from 30 September to 2 October for 18 matches, with the 16 finalists starting on the bonus points they had earned in the league stage.
DE Warriors player EAST collected the Finals MVP award, worth $1,000. Prize list amounts include a $5,000 league participation reward, so they are season totals rather than finals only prizes, and teams placed 17th to 20th show $5,000 for participation alone.
