HYUNBIN defends his BMIC MVP crown in Mumbai, but in Nongshim red

Jeon Hyun-bin started at DUKSAN Esports in December 2023 and moved with that core to DRX when the organisation opened its PUBG Mobile division in June 2024. The transfer built one of the strongest Korean lineups of the period: sixth at PMGC 2024, fourth at the World Cup 2025, and then the trip to New Delhi that defines his record on this site, first place at BMIC 2025 with the tournament MVP award on top.

In January 2026 he made the move that reshaped Korean PUBG Mobile, leaving DRX for Nongshim RedForce alongside SOEZ. The new team won almost everything that followed: the Macao Invitational in July, second place at the World Cup in August, and the Pro Series Season 2 title in October, with the Korean Esports League crown secured along the way as part of the same RedForce run.

That makes his BMIC 2026 story the strangest in the field. He is the defending champion and reigning MVP of this tournament, yet the team he beat everyone with now lines up against him, rebuilt around Qx. Mumbai will judge whether the MVP followed the player or the jersey, and RedForce's whole season suggests it followed the player.

HYUNBIN left Mumbai with a second straight BMIC title, this time in Nongshim RedForce colours. After winning the first edition with DRX in New Delhi, he won the 2026 edition as RedForce took 233 points from 18 matches, 82 clear of his former team. The title sent RedForce into the PMGC 2026 Gauntlet.
