SOEZ followed HYUNBIN from DRX to RedForce and kept winning

Song Ho-jin, playing as SOEZ, took a path that mirrors the rise of Korean PUBG Mobile's current top core. He began with Underplay in August 2023, joined DUKSAN Esports that December, and moved with the DUKSAN lineup into DRX in June 2024. With DRX he finished sixth at PMGC 2024, fourth at the World Cup 2025 and sixth at PMGC 2025, a run of deep finishes at every global event the team entered.

The peak of that spell came in India. At BMIC 2025 in New Delhi, DRX won the first edition of this tournament, and SOEZ was one of the four champions. Two months later he and HYUNBIN left together for Nongshim RedForce, the transfer TalkEsport describes as the split of the DRX title roster across three teams, and the pair simply carried the winning into a new jersey.

His 2026 record with RedForce matches the team's sweep: the Macao Invitational title, the Korean Esports League win that booked the Mumbai trip, second at the World Cup and the Pro Series Season 2 title in October. In Mumbai he plays against DRX rather than for them, with a second BMIC crown available in as many years.

SOEZ collected a second straight BMIC title in Mumbai and the Best IGL award to go with it. Nongshim RedForce won the event with 233 points from 18 matches, five Chicken Dinners and 148 finishes. The Best IGL prize was ₹1,25,000, and the team title sent RedForce into the PMGC 2026 Gauntlet.
