Natus Vincere finished 2nd at PMGC 2021
Natus Vincere, usually shortened to NAVI, are a Ukrainian organisation based in Kyiv, founded in 2009, whose PUBG Mobile team became one of the strongest in the world during the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
The team's peak came at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021, where NAVI finished second behind Nova Esports with 175 points across eighteen matches and earned $630,000, a year after taking fourth place at the 2020 championship, while the same season also brought second place at the World Invitational 2021 East on 224 points.
Later results kept NAVI on the global stage without matching the 2021 peak, with fifteenth place at the 2024 Global Championship Grand Finals on 69 points and a $17,500 finals prize inside an $82,500 whole-event total.
The 2021 Grand Finals were played as a semi-LAN event with teams gathered in Dubai and Singapore to keep matches fair, and NAVI's climb from an uneventful first day into second place by the end of the final day was noted in the organisation's own report of the event.
