PMGC 2026: Istanbul hosts the seventh final
Overview
The seventh Global Championship is scheduled for 11-13 December 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye, with a reported $3,000,000 prize pool. The field will be decided by PMGC Points earned across PMGO Season 1, the PMWC and PMGO Season 2.
S2G Esports secured an early ticket by winning PMWC 2026. Further qualification details are still to be announced.
The 2026 edition follows Alpha7 Esports' 2025 title.
Early stages open on 23 November 2026, with the Grand Finals set for 11 to 13 December in Istanbul.
Gauntlet sides take the direct road to the Grand Finals, while Group Stage sides face a longer road, with the Last Chance as a third path.
Team SouL reached the Gauntlet by winning BMSD 2026, and Nongshim RedForce joined them there by winning BMIC 2026.
DRX took the BMIC runner-up place into the Group Stage, alongside Valor of Japan, who qualified through the PMJL.
India can send up to three teams, but only SouL is confirmed so far, after both BMIC places went to South Korean sides.
The $3,000,000 prize pool is the announced total, with no per-place split published yet.
