PMGO 2025: Regnum Carya win in Tashkent
Overview
The second PUBG Mobile Global Open took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in 2025. Regnum Carya Esports of Türkiye won the title.
The win kept the trophy with a new champion in the second edition. The 2026 circuit then expanded to two seasons, with Season 1 in Jakarta and Season 2 in Lahore.
Regnum Carya took $100,000 from a $409,000 prize pool, with Nigma Galaxy MEA finishing second.
A maximum of 12 matches decided the Tashkent Main Event on 12 and 13 April 2025, with six matches on each day.
Eight teams entered directly, seven more advanced from the Prelims, and the Uzbekistan Finals champion completed the 16-team field.
Open qualifiers ran from February into March 2025 across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America and South America, feeding regional finals and then the Prelims.
Behind Regnum Carya, Nigma Galaxy MEA took $50,000 for second place and THE721 AGGRESSOR took $40,000 for third, while the remaining finalists earned between $10,000 and $30,000.
Points came from a 10-6-5-4-3-2-1-1 placement scale with one point per finish, and the Smash Rule set a match point of 80 across the 12 matches.
Regnum Carya's win gave their region an extra qualifying spot at the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2025, and DOK of 4Merical Vibes was named the event MVP.
The Main Event pool of $409,000 sat inside a $500,000 overall road, with $41,500 for the Prelims, $39,500 for the Qualifier Finals and $10,000 for the Solo Master.
PMGO 2025 matches aired on the PUBG Mobile Esports YouTube channel.
