BINI left the favourites to become the centre of DRX's rebuild

Kwon Soon-bin, playing as BINI, started at DUKSAN Esports in November 2022, the same month Nongshim RedForce opened their division, and his career has crossed the RedForce path twice since: a first spell in 2024, an Infinity interlude, then a second RedForce year through 2025. That second spell was his strongest, with the Pro Series 2025 Season 0 title, second in Season 2 and sixth at the World Cup.

TalkEsport's account of DRX's January 2026 rebuild lists BINI as the signing from Nongshim, the proven name added to Qx while Hoxy and TRE arrived from FN Esports. His Liquipedia page records the new lineup's 2026 Korean results under the KRX tag, including second place at the Pro Series 2026 Season 2, the finish that put DRX into BMIC, and fifth at the Macao Invitational.

His Mumbai storyline is the mirror of HYUNBIN's. Both men changed jerseys in January, in opposite directions between the same two organisations, and both reached this tournament. BINI's old team start as favourites; his new one holds the trophy. The lobby will settle which January decision was the right one.

BINI's first BMIC in DRX colours ended with second place. DRX closed the 18-match Mumbai event in second on 151 points, with two Chicken Dinners and 99 finishes. That second place booked DRX a PMGC 2026 Group Stage slot.
