TRE took the long way through four teams to a champion's roster

Kwak Dong-hyun, playing as TRE, is the youngest career in the DRX rebuild. He debuted with Underplay in February 2024, moved to Infinity for a year, had a month with Rage Your Dream, and landed at FN Esports in April 2025. There he shared the results that put FN on the edge of Korea's top tier, including second at the Korean Esports League 2025 behind Dplus KIA.

DRX signed him with Hoxy on 7 January 2026, and the pair's first season together in the new jersey produced more than most rebuilds manage: his page lists first place at the Esports Championships Asia 2026, fourth at the Korean Esports League, fifth at the Macao Invitational and second at Pro Series 2026 Season 2, all recorded under the KRX tag Liquipedia applies to this lineup's Korean results.

That second place is why he is in Mumbai, playing his first BMIC for the defending champions. He is also one of three ex-FN Esports players in this lobby, with Porico across the room at Dplus KIA, which gives the youngest DRX starter a familiar face to measure himself against.

TRE's first BMIC ended with second place for DRX. Second place for DRX came with 151 points, two Chicken Dinners and 99 finishes from 18 matches. Second place carried a PMGC 2026 Group Stage place for DRX.
