Hoxy climbed from DUKSAN to DRX by way of Sejong and FN Esports

Kim Seong-hwan, playing as Hoxy, began at DUKSAN Esports in December 2022, the same organisation that produced most of DRX's championship core, though his own path to DRX took two extra years. He spent 2024 with Miraen Sejong, reaching PMGC 2024 with them, then moved to FN Esports for 2025, where second at the Korean Esports League and third in Pro Series Season 1 made him one of the most consistent players outside the big two.

DRX's rebuild brought him in on 7 January 2026, alongside his FN Esports teammate TRE, with TalkEsport reporting both signings as part of the new core around Qx. His Liquipedia page tags the rebuilt lineup's 2026 results as KRX, including the second place at Pro Series 2026 Season 2 that carries DRX to Mumbai and a fifth at the Macao Invitational.

Mumbai is his first India event and his first with a defending champion's target on the team. The lobby also holds Porico, his FN Esports teammate from the 2025 season, now back at Dplus KIA, so his debut comes against at least one very familiar opponent.

Hoxy's first India event ended with second place for DRX. DRX took second in Mumbai with 151 points, two Chicken Dinners and 99 finishes across the 18 matches. DRX's reward for second was a place in the PMGC 2026 Group Stage.

Hoxy adds two Korean Pro Series MVP awards to his record, one with DUKSAN Esports in Season 1 of 2023 and one with Miraen Sejong in Season 1 of 2024. Both came before his DRX move, and both predate the Mumbai run that closed his first season with the rebuilt side.
