FAVIAN has been player, champion and coach inside the same organisation

Park Sang-cheol, FAVIAN, has been in Korean PUBG Mobile longer than almost anyone at BMIC 2026. He started with Archer Gaming in April 2020, passed through Team 4Ever and Warriors Esports, and joined the organisation now called Dplus KIA in November 2021, when it still played as DAMWON Gaming. As a player he won both Pro Series finals of 2022 and the India Korea Invitational in 2023, results that took him to India years before BMIC existed.

His career then bent in a direction few players survive. After a short 4EVER spell in 2024 he returned to Dplus as a coach, and from the staff side he was part of the organisation's greatest night, the PMGC 2024 world championship that December. Liquipedia tabs him as both player and coach, and his results list carries the titles of both careers side by side.

For 2026 he is back in the playing squad, listed by TalkEsport in the five names Dplus KIA take to Mumbai. A veteran who has already won in India as a player and won a world title from the coach's chair now gets the chance to do the first of those again, six years after his debut.

FAVIAN's return to the playing squad ended with third place at BMIC 2026. Dplus KIA finished the 18-match Mumbai event on 149 points with three Chicken Dinners, two points behind runners-up DRX.

FAVIAN earned an individual honour in India before his coaching spell. He was named Best IGL at the India Korea Invitational 2023, where Dplus won the title, and the award carried a $2,402 prize.
