Cyxae won BMIC with DRX last year and faces them with Dplus KIA

Choi Young-jae, playing as Cyxae, has the longest team list of anyone in the Dplus KIA squad: Score, zz, emTek StormX, Quiet Violence and a second zz spell fill his first two years. The list settled when he joined DUKSAN Esports in December 2023 and then followed that core into DRX in June 2024, apart from a three-week VEGA ESPORTS detour in the spring of 2025 that his results barely register.

With DRX he collected the results that make him matter to this site: the Pro Series 2024 Season 3 and 2025 Season 1 titles, fourth at the World Cup 2025, sixth at two straight PMGCs, and the first BMIC title in New Delhi in November 2025. TalkEsport's roster coverage picks him out by name as one of the three 2025 champions who will play against DRX this year.

His move to Dplus KIA on 17 January 2026 completed the triangle: HYUNBIN and SOEZ went to Nongshim, he came here, and all three meet in Mumbai. Dplus KIA's KEL runner-up finish gives him the chance to win the same Indian trophy for a second organisation in a second year, something nobody else in the field can claim.

Cyxae chased a second straight BMIC title in Mumbai but finished third with Dplus KIA. After winning the first edition with DRX, he ended the 2026 event on 149 points from 18 matches, three Chicken Dinners and 88 finishes. Dplus KIA finished two points behind his former team DRX in second.
