Chpz, once known as Chicken, owns a world title with Dplus KIA

Jung Yoo-chan plays as Chpz, though older Korean fans may know the name in his Liquipedia alias field: Chicken. His early career moved between Quiet Violence, emTek StormX and a year with zz, the kind of journeyman start that fills out the lower half of Korean results pages, before Dplus KIA signed him on 13 January 2024 and his career changed level.

Eleven months after that signing he was a world champion. Chpz was part of the Dplus KIA lineup that won PMGC 2024, and he backed it up through 2025 with the Korean Esports League title, the Pro Series 2025 Season 2 title and fifth place at PMGC 2025. His gallery on Liquipedia still shows the emTek StormX jersey from 2022, a useful measure of how far the move took him.

BMIC 2026 brings him to India with the KEL runners-up, in a squad where he and Nolbu carry the continuity of the world title team. Across the lobby he will see TIZ1, a teammate from his emTek StormX months in 2022, now winning everything with Nongshim RedForce.

Chpz shared the third-place finish at BMIC 2026 with Dplus KIA. The Mumbai event closed with Dplus KIA on 149 points from 18 matches, three Chicken Dinners and 88 finishes, two points behind DRX. Dplus KIA had reached the event as Korean Esports League runners-up.
