Archer Gaming was a short-lived Korean PUBG Mobile team whose entire competitive story fits inside a single year, yet it still managed to win a domestic title and reach a world championship. Formed at some point in 2020, the team was already gone by April 2021, disbanded on 7 April of that year, which makes its record a snapshot of the earliest organised Korean scene rather than a long career.
The highlight was the Street Challenge 2020 second half, which Archer Gaming won outright for $23,905, the largest prize in its short history and the result that carried it onto the global stage. That win earned the team a place at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2020, where it finished 21st and collected a further $5,000 against the world's best teams.
Archer Gaming matters because it shows how open the early Korean scene was: a team could form, win a domestic split, play a global championship and disappear within about a year. Its fourth place in the Street Challenge 2020 first half, worth $1,195, rounds out a record of just three events, two of them finals-level, which is a strikingly efficient return for such a brief existence.
