Stalwart Esports finished 2nd at PMGC 2023

Stalwart Esports is the Mongolian organisation that carried its country's flag at the highest level of PUBG Mobile for several years, reaching two world championship finals and a World Invitational podium. The side, which plays under the STE tag, built its name in the Mongolian domestic circuit before stepping onto the international stage, where it regularly faced the strongest rosters from China, Turkey and Southeast Asia.

The team's finest hour came at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 in Istanbul, where it finished second behind IHC Esports and collected 200,000 dollars for its Grand Finals placement, taking its whole-event earnings to 263,000 dollars. That result, behind a fellow Mongolian side, gave Mongolia the top two places at the 2023 world championship and confirmed Stalwart as a genuine contender rather than a one-event story.

Earlier, the Mongolian side had finished seventh at PMGC 2021 and third at the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022, where it scored 180 points and earned 185,000 dollars. Fifth place at the PMWI 2022 Afterparty Showdown and eighth at PMWI 2023 added two more international top-ten finishes to the record.

Indian fans may also remember Stalwart from the Loco War of Glory in 2021, where it finished 13th in the league stage and 12th in the Grand Finals, and from the Red Bull Mobile Esports Open 2021, where it placed 18th. Those appearances underline how widely the team travelled in its peak years, from South Asia to the world finals.
