Fnatic's Indian PUBG Mobile era, 2019–2021

Fnatic entered Indian PUBG Mobile in October 2019 by acquiring the roster of Team XSpark, Mohammed Owais Lakhani, Tanmay Sc0utOP Singh, Harpreet Ronak Singh, Paritosh Sharma and Ujwal Inyodream Chaudhari. Dot Esports reported the signing on 18 October 2019, noting that Owais and Ronak had come from Team SouL's PMCO Spring Split global-final run while Sc0utOP had played for Team IND. It was the most star-studded Indian lineup ever assembled at the time.

The peak came quickly. Fnatic won the PUBG Mobile All Stars in December 2019, with Sangwan playing as a loanee from VSG Crawlers and playing a crucial role in the title, per GamingOnPhone's account of the era. The team also finished runners-up at the PUBG Mobile India Series 2020 behind TSM-Entity. Between those highs came roster churn, Ash arrived from 8Bit, Franky joined, and Sc0utOP eventually departed for Orange Rock on loan, and the team never qualified for a global event.

The end was decided by politics, not results. PUBG Mobile was banned in India in September 2020, Fnatic's operations went stagnant, and the organisation reportedly shut down its Indian operations in March 2021, per Dot Esports. Fnatic never returned to Indian mobile esports. This page covers the PUBG Mobile era only, the organisation's BGMI-era activity is not recorded because there is none under this name.

Fnatic India partnered with streaming platform Loco in June 2020. The partnership covered the Fnatic Rising programme, which searched India for PUBG Mobile players aged 18 to 23 for training in Mumbai. The deal was a content and talent partnership, not a jersey sponsorship, and it ran while the PUBG Mobile roster was still active.
