Ash captained Orangutan to second at BMSD 2022
Ashish Ash Bhatnagar is best known as the captain of the Orangutan side that finished second at the Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown 2022. At the Delhi LAN in July 2022, his team led the Grand Final by seventeen points going into the last match before 7Sea Esports' thirty-point final game pushed Orangutan to second on 83 points.
The runners-up finish earned Orangutan two and a half lakh rupees and remains the biggest result of Ash's verified career. He led a lineup of AKop, Driger, WizzGOD and Believe under coach Vedzz, a side that had been one of the most consistent in the country that summer.
In July 2025 he joined Phoenix Esports as the IGL, part of the organisation's September rebuild alongside PHANTOM, Shirajj and Veyron. The lineup broke up within weeks, and Ash left on October 22, 2025. His next stop was Zutsu Esports, joined as IGL on November 28, 2025, and that stint ran to May 6, 2026.
Quantum Sparks brought Ash in as an analyst in June 2026, a move from playing into staff work. Liquipedia's extended results list shows the Quantum Sparks lineup third at the Revamp Master Series in July 2026, while no playing result from his Zutsu stint is published in the sources used here.
