Qume Bitcoin Cup 2020
Overview
A small community event in May 2020, the Qume Bitcoin Cup was won by Fnatic, who topped the 20-team finals and took the ₹50,000 top prize.
Villager Esports structured the cup in two phases: a group stage from May 18 to 26 trimmed the 27 entered teams down to 20 finalists, and the finals on May 27 and 28 settled the title across 10 matches. Fnatic topped that table with 128 points, built from 66 placement points and the highest kill count of the finals, 62.
Chasing the champions, Seven Seas finished second on 122 points and collected ₹30,000, while Team IND took third on 113 points and ₹20,000. Fnatic's winners' share was ₹50,000 from the ₹1,50,000 pool.
Initiative Esports' Aditya led the individual honours, named MVP with a ₹10,000 prize after his side placed fifth on 98 points. The bottom of the table carries its own story: Element Esports lost their entire Day 1 score, a 62-point deduction for misconduct, and finished last on 23 points.
Liquipedia's prize list adds a Best IGL award of ₹5,000 for Fnatic's Owais, and the group stage carried daily rewards: MegaStars, TSM Entity, GodLike Esports and Team IND won ₹5,000 on each of the first four days, while Seven Seas took ₹8,000 as the Day 5-6 standings winner, ahead of UMumba eSports RxN on ₹5,000 and TSM Entity on ₹3,000. Aditya also topped the published kill leaderboard with 21 finishes.
