MegaStars peaked at the PMPL South Asia Season 1 finals in 2020, finishing third on 167 points with 104 place points, 63 kills and one chicken dinner. The podium behind Celtz and TSM Entity sent the clan to the PUBG Mobile World League 2020, the high point of a year that also included the PUBG Mahayudh Season 1, the Skyesports Grand Slam and the OR Champion Cup.
In July 2020 the clan signed with Nimo TV, becoming the third PMPL 2020 side on the streaming platform. The deal gave MegaStars an exclusive streaming home and underlined how far a pure clan had come without an organisation behind it. The side was later invited to the PUBG Mobile India Series 2020.
The MegaStars name resurfaced in the BGMI era when the Team Mayavi lineup became Megastars. At BGIS 2024, Krafton listed Megastars among the teams removed for Code of Conduct violations, per SportsDigest's reporting; the coverage did not publish the specific violation or name any player in connection with it. The 2020 clan and the later BGMI side share a name but little else.
