Autobotz Esports' Clash of Champions title
Overview
Autobotz Esports claimed Clash of Champions Season 2, with the Grand Finals running 18 to 20 July 2025. Liquipedia's standings table confirms the records' podium: Autobotz first with 6 chicken dinners, 98 kills, and 99 placement points (197 total); Orangutan second with 2 WWCD, 109 kills, and 63 placement points (172); GodLike third with 104 kills and 55 placement points (159). Rider Esports were fourth and Team Soul fifth.
GSG Esports organised the event (produced by Velmor Studio), the same org behind Blizzard Battlegrounds, and broadcast on the GSG Esports YouTube channel. The ₹6,00,000 prize pool is about $6,965 in the records' figures. Sixteen teams contested the Grand Finals after a three-day semi-final stage that featured Soul, GodLike, Orangutan, 8Bit, Team Forever, and Tamilas.
The semi-finals delivered the event's famous storyline: GodLike's 54-point single-day comeback to qualify for the Grand Finals, widely covered at the time. The MVP was Fragger16 of Rider Esports (₹30,000), and Jonathan of GodLike won a Fan Favourite Player award ($58). Viewership was huge for a third-party event: the Grand Finals Day 3 stream drew around 1.41 million views.
the records' winner and runner-up are thus independently confirmed by Liquipedia's own table. Prize split details beyond the MVP award were not published.
The full split is now on record: alongside the five placement cheques, Liquipedia's award table lists Fragger16's ₹30,000 MVP prize and ₹5,000 each for Jonathan as Fan Favourite Player, GodLike Esports as Fan Favourite Team, Team SouL for the most finishes, and Autobotz Esports for the most chicken dinners, which accounts for the whole ₹6,00,000 pool. Fragger16 and NakuL shared the top of the event's fragger ranking on 34 finishes each.
How it went
