Orangutan, third at BGIS, are out of BMSD

Orangutan's BGIS 2026 finish is not in dispute. KRAFTON lists iQOO ORANGUTAN third on 132 points, behind Soul on 173 and Genesis on 169, with 92 finish points, 40 position points and two chicken dinners. That is a podium at the series final in Chennai. BMSD 2026 did not extend it.

The semi-finals left them 14th on 97 points in Group C, inside the group that sent Soul, K9 and Version1 x Blue Army through. Fourteenth meant Last Chance. In that 12-match stage they were ninth on 79 points with one chicken dinner, level on total points with Team AX and a place behind Vasista Esports. The top four advanced. Ninth did not. The KRAFTON broadcast listed iQOO ORANGUTAN among the 16 Last Chance teams, so the name on the stream and the name on the table are the same side.

They entered as defending champions, having won BMSD 2025 in Hyderabad on 147 points with a ₹30 lakh cheque and a PMGC 2025 place. The defence ended in Last Chance on 13 October: ninth on 79 points, eleven short of the 90-point cutoff, with one chicken dinner. Team AX finished level on 79 and took eighth on the tie-break. SportsDigest reported that the owner posted a farewell message marking the end of the team's 2026 BGMI season, and that Somraj said on a livestream that Smoker has rejoined the lineup; both are single-source reports and are marked as such here. Missing the Grand Finals also closes the international route: no BMIC 2026 place and no PMGC path from this event. No verified roster is published here.

Behind the team sits the Orangutan organisation founded by Yash Bhanushali and Jai Shah in August 2021, which also fields Valorant and Free Fire divisions. The BGMI coaching seat has been vacant in public listings since Coruja left in April 2026: Vedzz coached the side in two spells before him, and Liquipedia's team page currently names Prem as manager and Aaru as captain, with the coach field blank.

Orangutan kept the same BGMI four after BMSD 2026 ended. Founder Yash Bhanushali said on 23 October 2026 that there would be no roster changes, with every player signed on a long-term contract ending in 2029, and that only extra coaching or support staff might be added. The four are Aaru as in-game leader, WizzGOD, Attanki and AK, the same four already listed on this page. Orangutan finished ninth in the BMSD 2026 Last Chance stage on 79 points, so no international place came from that event: no BMIC 2026 place and no PMGC 2026 path through BMSD.

For Orangutan, the verified current lineup is Aaru, WizzGod, Attanki, Akop and Prem.
