BHISHMA BGMI Player Profile

Bhishma Tapan Shah, who played as BHISHMA, is a retired Indian PUBG Mobile player whose career ran through the game's first Indian competitive wave. Liquipedia's dated ledger opens with Hydra in February 2019, moves to Team Insidious that July, and then to UMumba eSports in January 2020.

His results came in a rush once the Insidious and UMumba lineups formed. He had already placed ninth at the PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019 Spring Split with Hydra, and with Team Insidious he finished third at the PUBG Mobile India Tour 2019 and fourth at the PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019 Fall Split for South Asia. The UMumba run added ninth in the PUBG Mobile Pro League South Asia Season 1, fourth at Gamers Without Borders 2020: Asia, second at the Nonolive Invitational and seventh at the PUBG Mobile Club Open 2020 Spring Split, and Liquipedia puts his career winnings at about $9,744.

UMumba released him in June 2020, and the playing trail closes with two short stops. He stood in for VSG Crawlers for three weeks, then joined Legstump in July 2020 and played the PUBG Mobile Club Open Fall Split 2020: India with them. His name returns to Liquipedia later in a staff role, as a project manager with Entity from 2022 to August 2024.

Plenty about BHISHMA was never published at all. No source records his in-game role or his date of birth, and no career statistics aggregate survives from that period. His only entry in Liquipedia's awards table is a day-level second place at the Qume Bitcoin Cup, a daily result rather than a tournament honour.
