Hydra and Hyderabad Hydras are two different orgs, and the record keeps them apart: both appear as separate entries in the same 2022 tables, with Hydra finishing ahead of Hyderabad Hydras in the BMSD 2022 finals. This page is about Hydra.
Hydra's best LAN came at the Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown 2022 in Delhi. After placing fifth in the group stage on 119 points, Hydra finished sixth in the one-day Grand Final on 24 July with 47 points, ahead of Team SouL and GodLike Esports in that final.
The side returned to LANs in 2024. At the iQOO BGMI Pro Series 2024 finals on 1 and 2 February they placed seventh on 62 points, in an event won by Entity Gaming. Two weeks later at the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series 2024 Challenge Finals they finished 12th on 106 points with 43 finishes.
Hydra read as a steady mid-table LAN side rather than a title contender. Later results do not appear in the reports cited here.
Behind the team stands Aaditya Deepak Sawant, better known as Dynamo, whom Liquipedia lists as Hydra's owner from 2019. The BGMI division that produced the results on this page was formed in 2022, three years after the organisation itself.
