BMPS 2024 ended with XSpark's second title of 2024

Overview

Three months after winning BGIS 2024, Team XSpark did the double. The third Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series ended on September 29 at the Adlux International Convention Centre in Kochi, Kerala, with the Shadow-led side taking one hundred fifty eight points from eighteen matches. The win was worth seventy five lakh rupees from a two crore pool, and it made XSpark the first team to win two official KRAFTON events in a single year.

Numen Esports finished second on one hundred forty five points and thirty lakh, while GodLike Esports took third on one hundred forty four and twenty lakh. XSpark won four chicken dinners and registered one hundred two finishes, the most aggressive scoring line of the final. SprayGod was named tournament MVP with a four lakh award, while Sarang took the Finals MVP and Joker the Finals Survivor award, both receiving bikes.

The Grand Finals ran from September 27 to 29, the first time KRAFTON had taken an official final to a tier two city. One hundred twenty eight teams had entered the first stage, and sixteen survived to the LAN. Punk of GodLike was named Best IGL, Legit of TWOB took the Emerging Star award, and Juicy of 8Bit won the Fan Favourite vote.

Kochi hosted eighteen matches over three days; Team XSpark won on one hundred fifty eight points, thirteen clear of Numen Esports.

BMPS 2024 opened with 128 teams in the league stage, which ran from 20 August to 18 September 2024 through three rounds before the semi-finals. Sixteen sides reached the Kochi Grand Finals, where a match win paid ten points and each finish paid one point. The opening day winners included GodLike on Erangel, Inferno Squad on Miramar and Orangutan on Sanhok.
