Hyderabad Hydras peaked with an All Stars final

Hyderabad Hydras had one great month and it was April 2022. At the Nodwin x Loco All Stars Invitational, the first LAN in two years, they climbed from seventh on day one to second by the end, finishing on 166 points with 88 placement points, 78 finishes and one chicken dinner. The runners-up prize was twelve lakh rupees, behind only TSM. The roster that did it was AceBlack, MantyOP, CarryOP, Striker and Maxy.
The All Stars final was the peak, but the floor was solid too. The same core had finished sixth at BGIS 2021 on 194 points, one behind 7Sea Esports, for one and a half lakh rupees. At BMPS Season 1 they managed thirteenth on 140 points, an average run in a lobby where the champions scored 335. They were still entering events in 2024, appearing at the iQOO Pro Series that January.
The Hydras never won a notable title, which is exactly why the All Stars result matters: it is the only time the organisation stood on a major podium. MantyOP later appeared on this site's player pages from other lineups, but the April 2022 five remains the definitive Hyderabad Hydras roster.
The roster turned over completely after the 2022 peak. A rebuilt lineup was revealed in July 2023 under the Hyderabadi Dragons name, and the March 2024 signings of Crypto, Insidious and Moksh, followed by Termi ahead of BMPS 2024, carried the side to twelfth at the BMPS 2024 Grand Finals. The organisation kept entering events into 2025 before disbanding on 19 August 2025.
