Numen Esports is a talent management company that moved into competitive BGMI by acquiring an established roster. In June 2023 it announced the signing of the Team Avii lineup, better known as Team Misfits, a four-man core of Robin REXX Boora, Avinash Avii Chari, Arshpreet GiLL Singh and Shaurya Savitar Gupta. The announcement went out on the organisation's Instagram account, and the fan response was immediate.
The new lineup debuted under the Numen banner at the iQOO Pro Series, the June 27 to July 2, 2023 event that GodLike Esports won. Before the signing, the four had been competing as Team Avii and Team Misfits after BGMI's return, finishing fourth at both the Villager Esports DOMIN8R Series and the Fight Night Pro Scrims. REXX and Avii brought a decorated partnership from Enigma Gaming, where they had won the Red Bull M.E.O. Season 4 India and the VE Winter Masters 2022.
At the BGMI Masters Series Season 2 in August 2023, Numen finished eighteenth and collected one and a half lakh rupees from the 2.1 crore rupee pool. The result kept them outside the finals weekend but confirmed the new organisation as a regular in the televised league. Later lineups for the organisation are not verified, so this page records the June 2023 core as the last confirmed roster.
Two later chapters are documented in the organisation's own timeline. Numen rebuilt in November 2023 around GiLL, Savitar, ClutchGod, SHADOW and Wixxky and finished ninth at BMPS 2023, and the organisation won the OnePlus Dominate Arena April Edition in 2024. A further rebuild in August 2024 brought in the former Team Forever core of Ninjuu, Ash, Mafia, Omega and Owais, and that five finished second at BMPS 2024, a run worth Rs 30,00,000, before 8Bit acquired the roster on 3 December 2024. Numen Esports disbanded on 9 December 2024, with Ninjuu moving to Cincinnati Kids.
