Global Esports' TEC Invitational S3 crown
Overview
On 29 March 2022, Global Esports won The Esports Club BGMI Invitational Season 3, taking ₹3,00,000 of the ₹5,00,000 prize pool (about $6,609 in the records' figures), the biggest winner's share of any event in this set. GodLike Esports finished runners-up on ₹1,50,000, Chemin Esports were third on ₹50,000, and 8bit fourth. The five-day invitational was organised by The Esports Club with LG Ultragear as sponsor, running 15 matches for 18 invited teams.
Chemin Esports' third place earned dedicated press coverage in April 2022, with standout player Justin Nadar singled out, a rare spotlight for a non-winning C-tier podium. GodLike's runner-up prize translated to roughly $2,000 per contemporary coverage. No MVP was recorded on Liquipedia or in any press coverage, suggesting the award was simply not announced for this edition.
The event press release was dated early April 2022, closing out the third season of The Esports Club's BGMI invitational series.
Confirmed across sources: Global Esports' win, the full podium, the dates, and the prize split. No MVP was ever published; the dollar figure is the records' conversion.
TEC Season 3 final table gave Global Esports a wide margin, with 229 points against 170 for GodLike Esports and 161 for Chemin Esports. 8Bit finished fourth on 152 points, ahead of Team Forever on 119 and TEAM iNSANE on 114, while Team SouL placed seventh on 111 in the 18 team field.
How it went
The largest winner's share of the batch went to Global Esports: sixty percent of the prize pool, with Chemin's podium earning its own press cycle.
