Gods Reign took the Villager Esports Season 2 title

The Villager Esports Pro Invitational Season 2 ran from 4 to 13 July 2023 and ended with Gods Reign as champions. Twenty four teams played across six days and sixteen survived to the Grand Finals, where Gods Reign finished on 183 points. The title paid ten lakh rupees from a twenty two lakh pool. The roster was NinjaJOD, AquaNox, Blaze and Robin, the former TSM trio plus their in-game leader, and the win was their first trophy under the Gods Reign name.

The finals order behind them was Team 8Bit on 147, Revenant Esports on 137, Entity Gaming on 136, Blind Esports on 135, Medal Esports on 99, WSB Gaming and TeamXSpark on 95 each, Orangutan on 92, Gladiators Esports on 88, Autobotz Esports on 84, Team Aladin on 83, Chemin Esports on 66, Team SouL and Numen Esports on 61 each, and Esports Wala on 54. Gods Reign had announced themselves on the second finals day with 74 points from six games, which put them top of the table at 127 and set up the closing run.

The prize money went five deep: ten lakh for the champions, five lakh for 8Bit, three lakh for Revenant, two lakh for Entity and one lakh for Blind. The event mattered beyond its own table because it confirmed the new Gods Reign lineup as a genuine contender weeks before the BGMI Masters Series Season 2, where the same organisation would finish eighth. For 8Bit, second place was one of their best results of 2023.

Six days of play for twenty four teams ended with sixteen in the Grand Finals, where Gods Reign's 183 beat 8Bit's 147.

Villager Esports Pro Invitational Season 2 named NinjaJOD of Gods Reign as MVP, with the award worth Rs 100,000. Gods Reign finished the Grand Finals on 183 points, 36 clear of Team 8Bit on 147.
