Beg4Mercy, 8bit PUBG Mobile veteran

Mrinmoy Lahkar, known as Beg4Mercy, is a retired Indian PUBG Mobile player and one of the earliest breakout stars of the country's scene. Born 18 February 1992 in Assam, he was described by Times Now as the first professional PUBG Mobile player from Assam and, at his peak, one of India's biggest PUBG Mobile YouTubers with around 1.5 million subscribers.

His competitive peak came with 8bit. At the PMCO Fall Split 2019 South Asia, the 8bit squad finished third with 294 points and 120 finishes, a result that stands among the best Indian placements of that era. He then played the PUBG Mobile Pro League South Asia Season 1 in 2020, where the team finished seventh. In 2020 he moved from 8bit to Entity Gaming, a transfer InsideSport reported at the time.

Beg4Mercy's significance is as much cultural as competitive. He belonged to the generation that turned PUBG Mobile from a pastime into a profession in India, streaming to a massive audience while competing at the top of South Asia. His career ended in 2022, before the BGMI era's big LAN seasons, which is why his name appears in 2019–2020 records rather than recent leaderboards.

The verified record covers his birth date, his Assam roots, the 8bit and Entity stints, and the two headline placements. His exact role inside the 8bit lineup and his personal finish counts at those events are not published in the sources used here and are marked missing rather than estimated.

Beg4Mercy's playing career ran longer than the PUBG Mobile era alone. Liquipedia's results put him in 8Bit lineups through the BGMI season of 2021 and into February 2022: second at the LOCO Diwali Battle grand finals, third at Skyesports Championship 3.0 and fifth at Ranbhoomi Season 1, and his recorded 8Bit playing stint closes on 28 February 2022. He had been an S8UL content creator since October 2020, and on 17 April 2022 Liquipedia records him becoming owner of Team 8Bit, the role he still holds.
